This is just to let you know that I am starting a new series on my blog called Q & A Friday’s!
I have been getting a lot of questions about different topics in the comment section of my blog posts. I think having a day of the week that I answer one of these questions in detail in a blog post is a good idea. I have been responding to all the questions individually, but if I do so in a blog post I get to reach more people.
If you have any questions about health, fitness or anything else even remotely related to the content on Rider’s Reel, then leave it in the comment section of any of my blog posts. You can also get in touch with me on my social media accounts. I only recently started social media accounts connected to this blog and I get very little engagement on them. Once they are more established I am sure I will get questions on Instagram and Facebook as well. Eventually I might have to answer more than one question per post, but right now I can manage with just one.
Quick life update:
I have been camping with my family in Plettenberg Bay the past few weeks, but today I am going home. I can not wait to sleep in my own bed at night. Also, the last few days I have developed a nasty throat infection that has kept me off the bike. I was planning a bicycle tour across the Western Cape next week, but now I might have to postpone it. The doctor prescribed me an antibiotic and some throat spray. I am sure that will do the job!
I think I mentioned in my last blog update that the first gravel bike race I had coming up at the end of January has been postponed. It was a local race, featuring 160km of gravel road fun! When it got postponed I was disappointed, but at least now I feel no pressure to recover from my throat infection in a short amount of time. I would love to do the bicycle tour next week, but if I do not it is not the end of the world. Postponing a bicycle tour and missing a race because you are sick are two different things. The latter would be a far more difficult pill to swallow, at least for me.
That is all from me. Ride hard and ride safe!
